Hi,
I am posting this mail after reading all the mail from Gil, Stan, etc..
It's not as bad as Gil's but still ...
I did a clean install of 9.3 yesterday. The problem is that after the install
the screen looks hazy than it's previously.
My monitor is a Samsung SyncMaster 793DF. The product manual says it has a max
resolution of 1280 x 1024 at 60 Hz and a display 312+/-4 mm and 234+/-4 mm. H
Sync 30-70 Hz and v Sync 50-160 Hz. I started SaX2 and set all these settings.
In SaX2 there's no entry for the monitor I mentioned. So I set to VESA.
I would like to know if any one of you guys have an optimum setting for this
monitor or if anything else might help.
These are the lines from xorg.conf (got from Gil, etc. mails).
