Everyone keeps saying that NVidia haven't released source code to drivers but their site lists these files: NVIDIA_GLX-1.0-1251.suse71.i386.rpm NVIDIA_GLX-1.0-1251.suse71.src.rpm NVIDIA_kernel-1.0-1251.suse71.i386.rpm
These files do indeed contain source code. However this is not the full driver code, but just an interface between API's and binary modules. The packages above also contain precompiled .o files which get linked when you try and compile the rest of it. This is done to allow the same release to work on (theoretically) any kernel. Although if the kernel API changes, boom, the module will not work. regards, Dave. -- | Dave Jones. http://www.suse.de/~davej | SuSE Labs
