addendum: when shutting down qjackctl, "D-BUS: JACK server could not be stopped. Sorry" [...] I don't think I have ever seen a Leap or TW last more than 2-3 updates without music 'usability' falling to pieces :-(
Isn't it a kernel problem?
In my case, after the kernel was updated to 6.4.11, VirtualBox became unusable and I upgraded it as a solution.
Now, when I install rosegarden, I get a message that I can't understand, "Performane probledms detected, System timer resolution is too low!
I mean, I have added threadirqs to the kernel parameter, so there shouldn't be a problem with system timer resolution....
I don't get those problems with the same kernel; vbox runs w7 if I want it and RG starts but is ubusable with ZASF, s=didn't use any special kernel params though.
If you can, why don't you try reverting the kernel to a previous version?
That can bring about other issues -- AI is upon us and could exterminate what is human quality in our lives so the fight is ON! Laws in every country MUST require producers of goods and services using AI to publicly declare that fact up front prior to EVERY sale, application or delivery. But this will not happen because AI is already defending against it, just try!
