Hummm, While we are on this topic - mine should be getting here tomorrow (err today - friday) I see you "select an image"... so you make your disk image first? Not just on the DVD?? Any reason? (kinda like to know _before_ I waste the very expensive media.)

Depends on how you are doing a burn. You can burn an image you downlaoded or made previously, or you can copy and existing DVD. When you copy, K3B makes a temporary image of the original DVD and then burns that image in a second step. At least that's what it does for me. C.
