For some reason gnome has stopped recognizing some of my ODT files, specifically OpenOffice.org writer.
It sounds like the permissions on the files are wrong for a start - you shouldn't be told they're executable. Had they been copied from an external drive (USB key drive for example)? That would normally result in this. Anyway, right-click on the offending files and select properties. On the permissions tab, uncheck "Execute:" Double-check what the file type is associated with on the "Open With" tab. It ought to be OpenOffice.org Writer. -- James Ogley, openSUSE Member: GNOME Team and Planet SUSE. riggwelter@opensuse.org http://opensuse.org/GNOME http://planetsuse.org openSUSE: Get It, Discover It, Create It at http://www.opensuse.org -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
