another way of doing things is to rsync the ftp site directory (/pub/suse/i386/7.1/{suse}) and put it on a 4-8 gig drive. then you can either carry the drive with you to install from harddrive or plug it into a Linux server to be mount to the ftp directory of your server and install via ftp. mk

Could anyone post this on the list or mail it to me? ( not the bootable cd affair ) I am finishing downloading 7.1 with wget, and would like to update in a short while, but I don't know how to build the CDs ( which dirs to put in each ) It seems to be a little different from 7.0, there are new dirs. I only need to know where do the dirs ( a1,a2,ap1,ap2 and so on ) go, in which CD number.
BTW I really find this a BIG nuisance, being a registered user of 7.0 gives you no help whatsoever on this issue, just 4 months after buying it. I can't help but find suse's policy here rather 'strange' to say the least.
thx in advance.
