Perhaps I'm naive concerning Suse *, but if one has a nicely configured system, what's the purpose of updating if I'm current?
FWIW, I've been using Suse 10.0 for about a year. I love how I don't require an entire day just to compile KDE! :)
* This is my 4th distro (RedHat 5.0, Debian 3.x & Gentoo 2004.0). Debian & Gentoo did not require re-installation, just regular updates.
I always do a fresh install..... Just my $.02
The next big thing will be SuSE 10.2 or SuSE 11? I think that 11 will be good for the time of KDE 4... and 10.2 for a good polished version with KDE 3.5. Bugs always starts with 0 (don't know why SuSE 9.3 came so buggy)
