Is there a way to put SUSE on floppies to install on a PC that does not have a CD ROM ????
Have enough parts from my old 486 to put together another PC. I got a case at a Computer show for $17.00. The parts I have should be working and not in a box under my bed. ;-)
you can have a hard time as well and use a plip (paralel port ip) device as a network device on both machines and install via NFS / ftp. As far as I remember, this is supported by the boot disk. But this requires a few HOWTOS and a few more hours reading them. Two NICŽs or swapping a CD ROM might be more fun, but less exitement.
