I don't know about anyone else out there, but a side-by-side comparison of the two would REALLY be great.
If you go to http://www.suse.com/us/products/susesoft/suse72/choose.html you will get a list of the features comparing Personal, Pro, and Subscription. You can compare this to your version 7.1, which has an older version of the kernel, KDE 2.0.1, Samba 2.0.7, Apache 1.3.14, Gnome 1.2, etc.
Also, is there any word on the pricing for the Personal vs. Pro. vs Pro Upgrade?
I'm especially interested in Pro vs. Pro Upgrade...
After talking to the California office today, the upgrade version will be available in about a month. It is the Pro version, designed to upgrade from an earlier version without doing a complete install. The Subscription version is a way to have upgrades automatically sent to you when available. (Requires giving a charge card number). It costs the same as upgrading (US$49.95), but Suse pays for shipping. Hope this helps. Harry G
