Top posting style reminds us of Microsoft ;-) I am seeing how this works a little bit now. I am confused by the various colours of the vertical lines on the left. Blue/Magenta/etc..etc... I hope this will get better for me since now I am seeing how I am trying not to toppost. :-|

Something else you could do is, that in Thunderbird, Account settings, is "define your name". It doesn't have to be your full name, it can also be an alias. Just how do you want us to call you. Then your mail address will appear like:
"Some Name" adress@host.domain
Also the first line of the replies, instead of saying:
