Hi.
Has anyone got ttfont support working from xfree4.0? I can't find any documentation on it in my 7.0 upgrade manuals. Currently I'm using xfstt. If there are no advantages in using xfree then I'm happy to stick with it. Any comments anyone?
Thanks, Steve.
I just did it five minutes ago and used the following how-to http://www.firstnethou.com/gz/xfsft_HOW-TO.html Of course I did not download the true type fonts since I had them already running with xfstt . So I just started using it from creating the from part II A and followed there on. The fonts do look better now (maybe because of XFree 4.01 or because of the xfst ) Just remember to disable the xfstt start in the rc.config so two font servers do not collide each other Hope it helps -- Togan Muftuoglu toganm@turk.net 100% MS FREE Absolutely no component of Microsoft was used in the generation or posting of this e-mail.
