Does anyone have one? & if so, what file system did you reformat as? Got G one of those take this drive everywhere , drives , which of course is tied to Windows. Bigger problem it's ntfs and the mount command says it's got a bad superblock which is code for "I don wanna" . ;-) That and needing to have root permissions seem to be the only downsides. It is seen as a separate drive.. It's certainly a good idea to reformat but what file system to? He needs to be able to put his files on it and take it to his teaching gigs. they play under linux.. right now there are only a couple of windows programs to do something, but we don't know what . Maybe reformat to some linux system , and put the multi media stuff on it, and perhaps install some windows thing under wine, or w/ the Codeweavers Crossover Office and it should be good to go, no? Thanks, it's going to turn up again I'm certain, so any help will get the user extra good Karma points. ;D -- j "Its like a song I can hear playing right in my ear That I cant sing I cant help listening" -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
