Hello,
I just had to recover very old course (2002) written with staroffice, just to notice libreoffice do not anymore convert these files.
I'm a bit paranoid about backups, so I could find in my archives a staroffice binary :-). Linux one didn't run (lack of some library, may be solvable, but I didn't even tried), but windows versions run perfectly under wine :-).
I can convert sdw files to doc and open these with libreoffice.
but if I can open sda (draw) files, I don't find any way to export them to *vector* graphics and libreoffice do not open them.
do you know any way to convert staroffice draw to libreoffice draw?
I don't have a perfect solution for the problem, but you can always export/print to ps or eps files and use them in libreoffice, or transform them to vector graphic formats with inkscape. You could also export high quality pixmap files and and vectorize with inkscape. Karl
thanks jdd
