Wow! And I thought I had it hard configuring all those Solaris boxes by hand. YaST1 did this for those who couldn't do it by hand..now there is YaST2. So they left a couple things out..it might be bumpy for a bit. They will fix it. You don't think that SuSE hasn't heard the bitching from us? pfft.. I just can't see leaving a distro as good as SuSE over this. It's just a bunch of whining. 9-10 things that yast1 did can be done with vi and a bit of time ..and one won't have SuSEconfig clean^H^H^H...configuring things behind ones back ;) Just wait a bit for a fix..YaST2 is modular and I am sure they are busy writing modules to satisfy everyone's gripes. And I know..YaST2 requires 64M of ram...boohoo...sorry but Windows2000/XP don't run on a 32M 486DX266 either. Please lets get into the 21st Century..at least a PII233 or something..what are they $10? sheesh. *Everything clipped because this is a general "Get over it..shit changes" statement. -=Ben --=====-----=====-- mailto:ben@whack.org --=====-- If it's true that our species is alone in the universe, then I'd have to say that the universe aimed rather low and settled for very little. -GC --=====-----=====--
