Ctrl-Alt-F1 and sax2 -r (almost) solved the problem. I hade to issue init 3 first and init 5 when ready.
This time I forgot that 2 commands.
Funny though since I did not have to change anything just accept the suggestion from sax2. Unlike suse 10.3 the monitor was even listed.
It is probably communication problem between components in automatic configuration. If you are comfortable with http://bugzilla.novell.com please file bug report and post link here. Instructions how to provide what developers may need are here: http://en.opensuse.org/Bugs:X It could be that it has nothing to do with X server itself, but logs can be helpful to determine where to look. Of course all files should be before you run 'sax2 -r'. You can save them in your home directory on 10.3 installation (if it is still alive :-) ).
Running a built-in nvidia GeForce 6150 on the Asus M2NPV-VM nForce 430 motherboard.
It seems supported. I had no problems with GeForce 6100 on MSI MS-7207 board, which is very close in capabilities to 6150. -- Regards, Rajko -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
