Hello: I've a IBM Netfinity 7000 (8651-th0) with 2 Pentium Pro 200 mhz processors, 512 MB RAM, 3 hd of 9 GB each one with a IBM ServeRAID (4.90.18) in RAID 5 configuration. I've made severals attempts to install SuSE. The system install ok, and I can to boot, to log, access to disks, all without problem, but ONLY when I boot the system from the CD 1 (Install - Boot installed system). If I try to boot from the hard disks, then the system check all the scsi adapters and ends with a "Bad EIP VAlue". I've tested also the ServerRAID with IBM tools downloaded from the IBM web, and all seems to be normal. I can't understand why boot normally from the CD and not from the hard disks. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks in Advance and Best Regards. --- Germán S. Arduino http://gsa.swiki.net
