I followed your suggestion, but selecting the old 'default' profile results in the same remark of being too old.
very curious. Mine is also very old (I copy it from install to install since... lot of time)
my FF is 68.1.0esr (64 bits) (15.1)

Mine, is same version and type. On TW FF is 69.x. Also, my .mozilla directory is equally very very old and has served me well throughout all the different versions of FF.
Since 15.1 uses ancient libraries, I presume that the TW FF can't be used too. Meaning, stuck to only using TW or using the new default-esr profile and maintainig thus two profiles, add-ons, extensions etc.
Firefox regular and Firefox ESR should work fine on TW and 15.1 If a profile was once used with a newer version it might refuse by default to be used from an older version. This can be bypassed via --allow-downgrade. (I think this is only required once.) https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/dedicated-profiles-firefox-installation Wolfgang -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org
