Did you ever get an answer on this? If not, I might be able to help... On Wed, 28 Jun 2000, you wrote:
After the installation and basic configuration, I restarted the computer. Now the IBM BOOT manager says that the Linux partition is not
formatted.
I have 1 HD w/ several partitions:
1- Windows 2- Boot Manager 3- Linux (7Mb) mounted in /boot 4- Windows 5- Windows 6- Linux mounted in / 7- Linux swap
The Boot Manager knows the boot partitions 1 and 3. I asked Yast to install LILO in 3. However, after reboot, the boot manager says that the partition is not formatted.
