I have an intel wireless card.. I have the required packages installed: rpm -qa | grep ipw ipw3945d-1.7.22-8 ipw3945-kmp-default-1.2.2_2.6.22.5_31-3 ipw-firmware-8-44 Also, suse updater reports back: unable to check if updates are avaliable This is when I have a connection..
