My wife runs openSUSE Leap 15.1 with KDE5/plasma desktop on her ASUS Zenbook notebook. There was a sudden change in the display when she logged in yesterday, the desktop is now larger than the monitor. Moving the mouse scrolls around the display, so all parts of the display are accessible, just not in view at the same time. The desktop looks magnified, fonts, window decorations all enlarged. A different user on the same machine doesn't have this problem, suggesting it is user specific and KDE specific. At the login screen (which is correctly sized for the monitor), after she types her password and hits enter, the openSUSE green lightbulb appears, then gets bigger after about 1 second, which suggests this is when the incorrect display settings get applied. If she logs in to a different DE, eg IceWM, the desktop fits the screen properly. She has not changed any settings, leaving all the under the bonnet/hood stuff to me. I have googled without success, and looked in System Settings, Display and Monitor, and Fonts, but nothing has changed. -- Bob Williams System: Linux 4.12.14-lp151.28.48-default Desktop: KDE Frameworks: 5.55.0, Qt: 5.9.7 and Plasma: 5.12.8 -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org
