[S.u.S.E. Linux] trying to use 2.1.112

I tried to use the new dev kernel, and it appeared to compile and install correctly, but when i tried to boot it from lilo, it restarted the comp. I compiled just like when i updated from 2.0.33 to 2.0.35, but this time it didn't work.
