Whenever I have to access an application that requires java I get the message:
'Additional plugins ar required to display all the media on this page.' So it is not able to use the plugin.
Then Firefox tells me that the following plugins are available Java Runatime Environment
but the Plugin Service Finder tells me that JRE is not available and we go around and around in a circle of diminishing radius. The default for openSUSE is a 32 bit browser in a 64 bit OS. If your Java is 64 bit, the browser cannot use it.
Whst do I need to change? There is a i586 version of java with the distro that works.
