I've configured my WRT54G to do just that, but I haven't been able to get it working.
I might have to give ddclient a try myself 'cuz I'm tired of stopping by dyndns once a month to update.
It is worth the effort to get it going. I have it set for one of my machines, connected via static IP to a WRT54G, which has a static IP connected to a Speedtouch DSL modem, which is the device that gets the public IP. ddclient is able to get the public IP and update DynDNS. -- Joe Morris Registered Linux user 231871
