Ipods and OpenSuSE?

I can't get my ipod to recognize itself in SUSE 10.0 (beta 3). It used to work just fine - modprobe-ing ieee1394 and ohci1394 aren't working at all. Has anyone used a (firewire) ipod, and if so, how'd you get it to work? TIA -Chris
