Yes, that's a Gtk+3 thing though, not a tbird thing. (which is why I have an Gtk+2 version of tbird, I can't stand the look of the new one and very few Gtk+3 html'ized themes are complete enough to provide default sizes for all widgets and menus and toolbars, etc... They are getting better, but my Firefox entry boxes still spill across DIV panes where with Gtk+2 there was no issue. About the best you can do is edit/create your ~/.config/gtk+3/settings.ini and set values for: gtk-font-name gtk-icon-sizes gtk-toolbar-icon-size e.g gtk-font-name="sans-serif 9" gtk-toolbar-icon-size=GTK_ICON_SIZE_MENU For settings details see: https://developer.gnome.org/gtk3/stable/GtkSettings.html -- David C.
