check whether scsi was seen at boot - "dmesg|less" lets you see the boot messages. If not you'll have to load the scsi module for your card or compile it in the kernel. If scsi is ok, rerun YaST & see if you can add the cd back in. mount the kernel does not recognize /dev/scd0 as a block device (maybe "insmod diver")
