Well I'm here in the middle of the night with a fix for the origininal PAM problem. I found it and downloaded it: [ <A HREF="http://rufus.w3.org/linux/RPM/libpam.so.0.html"><A HREF="http://rufus.w3.org/linux/RPM/libpam.so.0.html</A">http://rufus.w3.org/linux/RPM/libpam.so.0.html</A</A>> ] I also added /opt/pgcc/lib to my /etc/ld.so.conf Now I get: /opt/pgcc/lib/libstdc++.so.2.8: undefined symbol: __register_frame_info As I understand this, libstdc++.so.2.8 is expecting the symbol to be defined in another place. Where might that be? I read some stuff that made me believe the problem might be the version of gcc used to compile. If I find / -name libpam*, I find nothing. I am confident that this is an "orderly" problem. That is, I still need some more libs somewher. Can someone point me in the right direction?
