If yes, just wanted to confirm if you fellas are getting this CPIO bad magic error the result of which is a broken system and incomplete installs!!
I use apt-get for SUSE 10.0 and don't have any problems. My sources.list has just the DVD, SUSE updates, packman, and suser-guru, nothing else. In particular, I don't use suser-rbos since I had some version problems when I installed apt tools from there, and never found the time to investigate that. Just today came updates for qt3 (SUSE security) and w32codec-all (packman). Cheers, Joachim PS: Well, there is a problem with the rpmkey package from Packman not installing the GPG keys properly, but I was able to patch that locally. -- =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- Joachim Schrod Email: jschrod@acm.org Roedermark, Germany
