This effect happens when you have the Virtual Size of your screen set to a value than the physical size. Look at the X-Windows config, check both... Jerry On Friday 28 January 2005 14:42, Trey Sizemore wrote:
I've got my resolution set to 1600x1200 (which my monitor and video card support) but noticed after installing SUSE 9.2 on this machine that my desktop is 'cut off' a little bit at the top or bottom. By that I mean that if the top is cut off a little bit (.25" or so) and I move my mouse to the top of the screen, the screen will move to show the missing portion (like a virtual desktop that extends beyond the existing screen).
How do I get rid of this behavior and not have the screen extend beyond the defined desktop? I thought I remembered an option for this somewhere, but looking in the Desktop settings, Control Center, screen size & resolution app, etc. I could not find it. Would someone point me in the right direction?
