Suse License Question

I just want to know about the Suse Linux 10 License: does Suse 10 fall under the GPL. What I want to do is load Suse 10 for someone else and then set up postgres etc. and load a program I have written for them and then charge them anually for the program. Can I keep the root password for myself.
