Actually LiSp has "machine based" floating point, and the degree of precision to which God's machine, the universe' can calculate, for example, Pi, is better than we have with any "indefinite precision" package. And don't forget, the universe is also a massively parallel, multiple instruction, multiple data steam emulator.
