If you can get to a console on the machine (if you're in the installation, try switching to one of the virtual consoles, I forget which one has a command prompt, but try ctrl-alt-F1, ctrl-alt-F2 etc.) and check that you have /boot/boot as a symlink to . (itself). This is required when /boot is on a partition of its own, maybe yast failed to create it?!
