Hello Using SuSE 5.1 and following the instructions in the SuSE Linux 5.1 book, Page 291 Section 19.4, I installed a new user. Tried to log in the user. User could not log in. Ran SuSEconfig ( this was not in the book). User logged in but could not go to /home/usr, got permission denied. User was in /. Ran YaST to correct the problem. In User Admin. found user there. Tried to add detailed description of the user. There is no key to save that information. Tried help. No help on saving the info was found. Help did say to exit the password admin by using F6. YaST has no F6 Key shown. F6 key did nothing. Rebooted system again (sigh). Did not help. Ran Yast and deleted user. Used F4 to create user. User now can log in. Users directory contains 113 files. This is a minimumal install? I feel like I am a beta tester at this point. wayne -- To get out of this list, please send email to majordomo@suse.com with this text in its body: unsubscribe suse-linux-e
