I use vlc to watch TV. As everybody knows, the TV stations broacast commercials (ads in America terms) which are always some % louder than the program being broadcast - ans which is damn annoying :-( .
Does anyone know of an application which would keep the loudest sound level set to comfortably listen to a program to apply to commercials? Something like a "cruise-control" on a car which keeps the car running along at a preset speed?
Any ideas anyone?

I have seen on on MCM Electroics a device which installs in the audio flow and lowers the level on loud sounds. Bob R -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org
