Nah, that's not necessary - many providers have already started, but far from all. (I haven't checked, but last I looked, there was a distinct lack of IPv6-capable CPE, eg. xDSL boxes). For bridging the gap during the transitional period, there are two or three options (4to6, 6to4 etc).
