For the Stand-Alone-PC Home Linux User, "Chrony" seems complicated and difficult to set up.
I have looked at <RPMfind.net> but there is not a SuSE_specific RPM for Chrony.
Is there a Simple Program that does the job OK ?
There's a Perl script I found at freshmeat called nist that you have to run yourself (though you could set up a cron job) that works very well. The only change I had to make to it was changing the first line from #!/usr/local/bin/perl to #!/usr/bin/perl (alternately you could type "perl nist.pl" everytime). It might be the simple program you need.
