Hello,
Last week, installed opensuse on my laptop. I have a compaq WL100 11mb/s card and I need to setup a wireless connection on my laptop. I tried using yash but could not be to do it. I see wlan0 and wifi0 list in my ifconfig command and when I tried to connect to my network, I could not able to see a ipaddress on the wlan0 interface. I can see the RX count increasing on wlan0 but no ipaddress. I tried dhcpcd wlan0 (and disabled all iptable rules) but it timeout after some time. Any help is very much appreciated.
Just a quick reply. This card should be supported. What you may need to do is to look at dmesg and see how the kernel treats the card. The card should use the prism driver.
