Hi Wolfi. Are you aware that there's a native app included on the SuSE cd's called nvtv. You know the score, Yast, search = nvtv, install, setup. I have tryed it before, and though I have no tv hooked up at the time it did initialize and work. The issue of getting the output configs right so the S-video port on the card is set up is unknown at this time by myself. However, I have a suspicion it might just work (though I could be wrong - but seemed to work at glance). Check it out. HTH, Curtis. On Saturday 16 November 2002 01:44, wolfi wrote:

I have a proposition for Suse team : I want to work for implement TV-out capabilities on Suse Linux :
-I have a method to have ATI Rage TV-out working with Xfree, I can work with you in order to implement it in Yast (I have already implemented it in a major distro). -I can help you too for implement S3switch & KS3switch : http://www.bochatay.net/francois/ks3switch.html -Some Nvidia (Twin-view) can have TV-out working with nvidia driver too, I have already configured it.

Florent, this sounds great. I got a 32MB TV-OUT card in my new box, and the TV-OUT remains unused until now :-( It is a GeForce2 MX 200 I'll try your site asap ....
