I wrote a short script to log in as root and run the crypto script to mount a an encrypted partition. Now I want to execute this by clicking on an icon, but the kde doc that describe running non-kde programs does not address this. could someone please direct me.
Right click on the desktop and select Create New->Link to Application and fill out the required info. One of the options under the application tab is Advanced Options where you can set it to run as a different user. This will require you to supply the password for that user whenever you click on the icon. -- Ken Schneider UNIX since 1989, linux since 1994, SuSE since 1998 "The day Microsoft makes something that doesn't suck is probably the day they start making vacuum cleaners." -Ernst Jan Plugge
