I have found that many computer professionals tend to use Linux at home. Most of the people I have spoken with at Netscape tech support use Linux. I have also learned that the folks at Godard Spaceflight like Linux. Today I was driving to work and saw a Linux bumper sticker. (Are you listening S.u.S.E) I am curious to know how many people use Linux. Does anybody have statistics on this? How fast is it growing? On a related note, I have found that products like the Netscape Communicator are not fully functional on Linux. For example, I was using Netscape on windows NT and found a neat page that had really cool mouseover Java Script. This does not seem to work with my Linux version of Netscape. If any one else wants to see what I am talking about, try: <A HREF="http://www.nokia.com/6100launch/feat_ir.html"><A HREF="http://www.nokia.com/6100launch/feat_ir.html</A">http://www.nokia.com/6100launch/feat_ir.html. under NT when I mouse over the parts of the phone the different text sections pop up immediately. In Linux I need to click on the parts of the phone. I find there are other features that don't exist under the Linux version of Netscape. It may be that these features don't exist on any Unix versions. It seems to me that if there is a growing Linux user community it would be wise of companies such as Netscape to provide better functionality than they do. Any thoughts?
