As I'm guess I'm responsible for your update some notes :-(
Have you got any notification at first startup about the changed default behaviours in TB3? Hopefully you did. At least it's meant to be displayed for upgrades. From that page you should have been able to opt out from some of the new stuff.
Yes, I saw that. There were FOUR tabs. TWO of them were those. TWO? Yes. I opted out of everything.
TB3 downloads everything from every account unless you stop it from doing so. It also defaults to indexing everything. In preferences->Advanced you are able to disable the indexer.
I thought I have that set. Yes, I've just been though, checked "OFF" those boxes on ALL my accounts and restarted. Its still downloading. And yes, occasionally I see it flash a message saying its indexing. So its not taken any notice of my explicitly disabling those. OUCH!
You also should be able to disable the sync of the mails in the account settings.
Yes, I had that, it was the whole point of IMAP !!! And yes, I've checked the config over and over.
I cannot really speak for missing addon compatibility but hope that this situation changes soon.
No doubt. It takes time for the add-ons & extensions to catch up :-) My greatest concern is purging of deletes. OBTW: "Reply to list" is there :-) Good! -- Give a man a fish, and you'll feed him for a day.
