Hi! I installed (?) SuSE 8.0 Pro in a DELL Dimension 8200 with monitor 1702FP using NVIDIA GeForce2 MX graphics card. I never could run sax2. System hangs after detecting the hardware and asking me whether to enable 3d or not irrespective of my answer (yes or no). System hangs always when I change to console mode (Ctrl+Alt+F1) or when I logout. Resolution of fonts are horrible and I couldn't find any better font in the list! I tried installing NVIDIA drivers using YOU, directly after downloading from nvidia.com, etc. Files are all at proper places but when I include Load "glx" log file contains an error. When I use the Device option "NvAgp" "1" system hangs with Load "glx" but I could startx only without Load "glx". I tried to make install but couldn't find the command "make" anywhere in SuSE 8.0??!! I am attaching XF86Config, XFree86.0.log and SaX.log files. Please help me. (SuSE system support doesn't seem to have any answers, they never answered!) Thanks, Joy _________________________________________________________________ MSN Photos is the easiest way to share and print your photos: http://photos.msn.com/support/worldwide.aspx
