Correct. The pcmcia_cs package is available from www.sourceforge.com and is kernel-specific. Read /usr/src/linux/Documentation/Changes On Thursday, March 09, 2000 2:58 PM, Fent, Lee [SMTP:lfent@esker.com] wrote:
I just want to verify that PCMCIA Card support is not a feature of the Kernel, is this correct? I can't find anywhere to configure it, and I think it's handled by external features, but I can find PCMCIA under modules on my current Kernel, so I'm a little jumpy since this laptop is a proven pain to reinstall on, but I'd like to update the Kernel. Anyone know how pcmcia support interacts with the kernel?
Thanks in advance, Lee
