I'm talking about the digital clock at the right end of the bar that's been there for years. It has always worked well, until this recent change.

No, I live alone and neither my dog nor cat use the computer. ;-) Another user would certainly give me a clock initially, but this is an intermittent problem. It works until it fails and then I can only fix it by logging out of the desktop.
