H All ! I'm looking at andLinux - and I think it's great to have a Linux running on Windows, and having KDE3 integration. Isn't it ? Now What makes andLinux tick? -coLinux patched kernel (+ coFS) -andLinux as NT Service -andLinux Launcher -X Protocol -PulseAudio Just have a look at it ! ! ! http://www.andlinux.org/ It's wonderful. KDE3 apps feeling native on Windows ! WOW ! But andLinux is based upon Ubuntu, and I think, that it may be possible to build something similar for openSUSE. BTW: I think that it doesn't have to be based on coLinux - any virtualizer will do, including VMware, VirtualBox, Microsoft Virtual PC and even Qemu :) The _main_ point here is Windows flawless integration. (NT Service + andLinux Launcher) All the rest seems to be less important. X Protocol can be replaced with seamless-mode virtualization (VirtualBox 1.6 or VMware 6.5), and PulseAudio can be replaced with Sound Blaster emulation. -- -Alexey Eromenko "Technologov" -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
