Is OpenSUSE/SUSE 10.0 reliable?

I was expecting to buy a pc next year, and was going to wait for 10.2 to make sure it's stable (gcc4, reiserfs v4, oo2, etc). But, luckily, it seems i'm getting it this year, and obviosly 10.2 won't be ready by then :). So it's reliable sata disks and amd64 in it's current version? Specs: Asus A8N-SLI Premium AMD Athlon 64 3500+ 2GB Corsair RAM 1 WD Raptor for OS 4 Seagate SATA drives for data in RAID5 (would it be best to use MD or just the Silicon Image controler?) Ciro
