Have check your bios to see if 1) the HD controller is enabled 2) That the pci bus configuration has no interrupt conflict? Finally check the cable, but I doubt if thats it. Have you added any new cards to your HP? I hope this helps. keng heng wrote:
I have a strange problem here, I can start the installation with yast2 from CD 1 for my Suse 7 box, when the time SuSe restart the HP, an error came out, it is about the CD-ROM IRQ-15, when I disabled the CD-ROM from the BIOS, the linux is working but I can't access my CDROM (8x) that attached to IDE interface. My HP is P-PRO 200 with 1 processor.
