Hello:
I would like to download (not to install) screengrab xpi with seamonkey web browser because I want to have the xpi file with its original name locally.
When I visit the download page
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/screengrab-fix-version/versio ns/?page=1#version-0.99.12
with my seamonkey web browser I cannot find any download link to the xpi files. I see only big green buttons with the message "Only with Firefox — Get Firefox Now!", and these buttons direct me to firefox download page.
What I want is to save the xpi for later use. Why doesn't the addons page allow the download of the xpi files with different browsers? How can I find out the xpi download links?
Thanks,
Istvan Questions that belong upstream at Mozilla. And saving xpi files for later, IMHO is useless, given the fact that in browser/add-on land things are moving quickly. And, google replies to "download firefox xpi files" with this as a top result: https://support.mozilla.org/nl/questions/961164
