Hi:
I have Suse 9.1.
First, as the user currently using the X display, I did
xhost +localhost
Then I su -l to another user, then try to run an X program like konqueror. But it fails with the messages:
Xlib: connection to ":0.0" refused by server Xlib: No protocol specified
konqueror: cannot connect to X server :0.0
What am I missing?
There is a nice script supplied bu SuSE which handles all the gory details of this for you, simply use sux instead of su HTH Dylan -- "I see your Schwartz is as big as mine" -Dark Helmet
