LSILogic Megaraid and SuSE 8.2

I have searched the web for information if its possible to boot SuSE 8.2 from an LSI Logic MegaRaid IDE card. I currently run SuSE 8.0 Pro on it but it doesn't detect the RAID set but instead it detects the individual disks. Will 8.2 support this, there isn't any native 8.2 drivers for download anywhere...
